What the room holds

Everything a writer needs to keep a tidy shelf, and nothing that crowds the page.

  • Drawer A

    A shelf of your own

Every writer gets a blog at a short address, with a portrait, a bio, an introduction they write and drawers they name.

  • Drawer B

    Pages that read well

Essays are set in a calm serif at a comfortable measure, with a table of contents on long pieces and full Vietnamese support.

  • Drawer C

    Filed to be found

Categories, topic pages and an RSS feed for every writer keep notes and long reads easy to find again.

  • Drawer D

    Margins kept civil

Anyone can comment with just a name. A moderator reads every comment before it appears under the post.

For readers

Walk in, take down a slip, read in peace.

No ticket at the door: every shelf in SlipRoom is free to read. The room does not set cookies for readers, run analytics or show advertising, so a page holds only what its writer put there.
